Mazda Fashion Street

Have you seen a fashion show on the street? 

I mean literally on the street? Then you have to see this one, the most phenomenal fashion show (I've ever seen) was happened at Senayan city, Jakarta on October 31st. The street really got fashionable by Mazda Fashion Street, it was an amazing event who made me mesmerized and speechless because all the models literally walking down from the stage and pose at the street.

All the models wearing collections by 7 Young and Vibrant designers: KLE, IDENTITE, JII, Alex{A}Lexa, HUNTING FIELDS, CIEL and 8ERI In the fashion show, they displays their unique design with a style, similar with the new Mazda2 SkyActiv who also enter the sub-compact hatchback market with a style.

It was a night with a lots of people come to see this indescribable fashion show, and no one would forget any time soon. You had to be there to believe it. One thing i regret that i couldn't post some images of men'swear collection that i captured during the show, because the images was blurred since there's no single space to shoot a best picture when the male models hit the runway, and the venue is packed with people. Overall it was a spectacular warm up for the week ahead. Mazda again create a breakthrough, and this time creative industries in fashion become Mazda’s newest partner in creating a revolution.

24 Hours Fall Style

It's been a month since I've written any reviews on this blog, I got a lil bit busy with everything. I've gotten the opportunity from BONOBOS to create my own style board for a Fall season Look. Shortly after the BONOBOS team contacted me I went to browse their collection on their website, Bonobos.com and I found very classy pieces on there that will makes all guys look perfect during the fall season. So here we go! As I've said I have the opportunity to share my own fall look, so I put some layer in my style board below. This look was inspired by one of BONOBOS looks from their lookbook above. 

I choose these pieces for my fall look because it can be worn 24/7; perfect for people who are busy (like myself.) As you can see on my style board above, i choose the tweed blazer and mixed it with oxford shirt, & navy sweater to make it look more warm, and simple. For the pants I used denim with the dark color to bring the fall feeling and make the whole looks more dapper. Last but not least, the bag and the shoes that i choose from Bonobos.com; it make this look more classy yet stylish but simple enough that it's not too much. The whole look can be found on the bonobos website; but be ready to get obsessed with their outfits! (I know I am ;) )

Bringing Indonesia to The World

IKAT Indonesia, goresan budaya Indonesia yang dikemas serta disajikan dalam sebuah koleksi busana. Menggunakan kain tenun ikat yang digunakan sebagai bahan utama setiap koleksi, maka IKAT Indonesia hadir dengan sebuah komitmen untuk membawa kekayaan budaya tercinta Indonesia ke dunia internasional. 

Karya yang lahir dari Didiet Maulana, salah satu desainer muda yang terus konsisten dalam memperkenalkan kain tradisional ini meluncurkan koleksi pertamanya pada tahun 2011, diikuti dengan meluncurkan koleksi selanjutnya Pour Homme pada awal 2012, dan pada tahun ini Ikat Indonesia kembali dengan kentalnya nuansa warisan nusantara dalam balutan Koleksi Mentari (2014) yang kali ini hadir membawa pesona jenis lurik dari daerah Klaten dan Yogyakarta yang dipadukan dengan kain Endek yang diolah dari tangan perajin di Denpasar, Bali. 

Permainan potongan cropped hadir pada atasan, dan rompi untuk pria. Tampilan dengan gaya casual, juga dihadirkan melalui beberapa desain sweater dan jaket. Beberapa sweater bertuliskan huruf besar IKAT pada bagian dadanya, yang disajikan untuk pria dan wanita dalam menghiasi koleksi Mentari 2014 ini. Menampilkan kesederhanaan dan minimalis tetapi tetap terlihat modern adalah gaya yang selalu diterapkan pada setiap koleksi IKAT Indonesia yang diharapkan mampu menarik generasi muda mengenal kekayaan budaya bangsa lewat trend busana.
